Hair O' The Dog 2012
Beat the post-holiday blues at one of the most happening events this winter: the Hair O’ the Dog black tie gala event, held on Saturday, January 14 at 8 PM at The Westin Philadelphia. Developed by Rob Molinaro and Dan Cronin of Chorus Communications, this year’s party will be hosted by Wired 96.5 radio personalities Chio and Shila, with entertainment provided by local talent such as The Drop Dead Sexy Band, DJ Johnny Looch, DJ Licious, and Adrian Hardy and Many Romano. All ticket holders will enjoy an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment. VIP ticket holders have access to private registration, specialty martini bars, and bottle service areas. At the end of the night, head to either G Lounge or Whisper—admission is free for VIP ticket holders.
The Hair O’ the Dog supports charitable initiatives too—proceeds will go toward The Garden of Reflection, Pennsylvania’s 9/11 memorial, and will raise awareness for Friends Are By Your Side, celebrity stylist Martino Cartier’s charity that rallies salon owners and beauty industry experts to support women battling cancer and suffering from hair loss. One woman will receive a “Queen O’ the Dog” package, donated by Cartier’s charity, which includes a VIP ticket, a custom gown created by Aci Nae Boutique, and an airbrush tan from Skin Palette. Philadelphia painters Glenn Stevens and Perry Milou will be on hand creating a live painting at the party, from which proceeds will be donated to charities. For more information, please click here.

THE EAGLE'S VERY OWN ASANTE DRAWS CROWD FOR CHARITY EVENT

In the mist of all the crazy things that are happening in the world, there are still some positive things to look forward to. On Tuesday November 15th Philadelphia Eagles player Asante Samuel hosted an his Charity Poker Tournament at the beautiful Whisper Nightclub. The event benefited his own foundation called Bring it Home Single Moms that helps build homes for mothers and their children. This idea came from the influence of Asante’s own mother who was a single mother who raised her three children while she was financially unstable. She is own of Asante’s biggest inspirations in life. The charity event attracted hundreds of people and fans as they had the opportunity to win Eagles tickets and trips to Miami. Check out the pictures from the event!
